One Fest 2008
On June 7, we all went out to TBnJ's school for their end of year festival which is called One Fest. Daddy-o and B went out early in one car so that Daddy-o could put in some volunteer hours (which ended up being watering the gardens); T, J and I went out later to meet up with them closer to when their play was scheduled to start at 9 am. They put on a really cute play which the class had written. It was about an evil witch putting a bad spell on several critters; the critters went off in search of a good magic potion to reverse the bad spell. T was one of a pack of wolves who had been affected by the spell. J was the narrator. Pictures of them in their costumes, the play, and lots more are on Flickr.After the play, the kids did various activities that were set up. I headed home after two hours while the kids stayed for a while longer. They got to see and touch some animals like snakes and turtles. They also just had fun playing with their friends.
