at Northwest Park
T and J's last day of school was Wednesday, June 11th. On Friday, June 13th, we went to Northwest Park to take pictures of a friend's family. We got there early and checked out good locations to take pictures. T&J also played on the playground. They quickly demonstrated to me that we didn't want to take portraits of the family on the playground because both were quickly coated with a fine white powder from the rocks. Both kids were there as official paid assistants. J did a great job, as she did
on our previous shoot. T lived up to my expectations. He wasn't overly enthusiastic about helping after the first minutes. He was pretty good at accidentally getting in the way of the camera. He was distracting to the kids in the shoot: J will sit patiently and watch whereas T went and got dead branches off the ground and started jumping on them to break them. He wasn't outrageous by any means, but given my choice of whom I'll take along to help me out, J wins by a long shot. I just have to come up with a comparable way for T to earn money around the house so he doesn't get jealous of her income!Labels: in Austin
