Spring has sprung
We were outside playing today, and the kids got out the "butt scooters." They love to take the cones we have and use them like ski poles. They also invert the cones and use them as arm prostheses. J is at right, scooting herself along the sidewalk. Yes, that outfit was quite the sight in person. The colors matched great on the shirt and leggings, but the stripes and large floral together was overwhelming. Add in the red hair bow and green and yellow barrettes, and you have one of J's typical fashion statements.And that greenery in the background? Those aren't overgrown weeds. That's native wild growth. Or it is until next week, anyway, when the lawn guys come by to mow it down.
