Luminations Festival
TBnJ went to the Luminations Festival yesterday evening at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. The picture at left is the luminarias from the tower. Aside from walking the paths, the kids also got to see a live version of Frosty the Snowman. T and B got their picture taken with him, but J refused. The kids also made gourd ornaments and wrote letters to Santa. T came up with a list of Star Wars items he wants in addition to all the previous items he had requested. I had already told him that it's a bit late to be sending requests to Santa and that he may just have to wait for his birthday!Before they left the house to go to the Wildflower Center, T asked if the Luminations Festival would be anything like the Renaissance Festival. I had to break it to him that it would be nothing like it. However, despite the discrepancy, T had a great time.
