a busy day of Christmas activities

TBnJ wore everyone out yesterday with pre-Christmas activities. To start off they day, they picked up Uncle J and Aunt M from a local hotel. They took them to see the Austin Children's Museum. No, it's not one of our choice places to take out of tow
n guests, but the kids really wanted to go. They had a blast as usual and took lots of abstract pictures with their new camera.
They then took J&M to P.Terry's for lunch.
After driving around downtown for a little while, they made their way to the Paramount Theatre. There they saw the Ballet Austin production of The Nutcracker. J absolutely
loved it. T and B liked it a lot too, but they both fell asleep during the second half of the second act due to exhaustion.Afterwards, they went to the Texas Capitol briefly. It was closing down, so they only got to see a bit of it
including the main hall, one chamber, and a bit of the annex. They didn't walk around much outside beca
use it was blustery with wind gusts up to 40 mph yesterday in Austin. They went to dinner at Ruby's BBQ, a new experience. T said his favorite thing was the white rice. B tried a lot of things, but J didn't like much at all. B insisted on taking a picture of his dinner (brisket and I'm not sure what else). He has been taking pictures of EVERYTHING. He really loves this camera.

Then, because
they hadn't had enough, they went to the Domain to see the Christmas fireworks. While waiting, they walked around Macy's and a bookstore. T loved the escalators and elevators. They all slept well last night.
