Thanksgiving
Yesterday morning, Daddy-o put the turkey in the oven at 6:30 a.m. We began cutting and chopping and zesting and juicing and doing all kinds of cooking type things. We made homemade cranberry compote, pumpkin butter, green beans, apple pie, mashed potatoes and stuffing. Around 8:30, we turned on the tv and started watching the Macy's parade in addition to doing all the cooking.
At around 10 a.m., J looked over at me and asked, "So today is Thanksgiving?" Yes, today is Thanksgiving. I'm not sure which part of all of that didn't clarify it for her!
