Splash Day for R
Sunday was the 8th anniversary of the birth and death of TBnJ's sister R. We've varied how we've commemorated the event each year to fit the situation. This year we had three friends (and their parents) over to play in baby pools and the sprinkler in the front yard in 90+ degree heat. The early set up is pictured at left; there was a lot more schtuff scattered all over the front yard by the time things got going. We had "ice cream" for the dairy allergic and vegans as well as ice cream for those who aren't. Plus, there were cookies and grapes and juice. TBnJ got wet, muddy, and sticky, and they gorged themselves on the available junk food, so in their opinion it was a good day. B said after we came inside, "That was a great party!"Labels: around the house
