fear of lions
The kids remain excited about the prospect of going to a big zoo in a few weeks. B doesn't want to see tigers or lions, though. And he told Daddy-o he wanted the lions to be all dead by the time he [B] is a grown-up. Daddy-o tried to convince him that extinction isn't a good thing, but that doesn't seem to matter to a four year old who has a new found fear of big cats. We have no idea where this fear came from.
