Father's Day in Austin
Yesterday we celebrated Father's Day in Austin. That is because Daddy-o's Father's Day gift arrived via UPS. It was too heavy for me to carry by myself, and the shipping box was the actual package with explicit labeling and pictures of the contents. So we had to let Daddy-o see it in order for him to move it off of the front porch. Daddy-o got a portable disc golf target. It also came with three frisbees, but TBnJ all laid claim to those before they even had the box open. Daddy-o had to go get an old disc out of the trunk of his car in order to play with them. So much for "his" Father's Day present.Assembly required no tools but did include three helpers. Then they all played in the front yard for a bit. T whacked B on the head once with a frisbee, and there were several more near-misses. More practice is definitely needed. J wanted to throw frisbees while standing in the maple tree which Daddy-o and I didn't think was the best idea. T thinks we need three more targets, but we have unsuccessfully tried to convince him that one is more than enough to have to store in the garage. They are planning on taking it up to the local soccer field some time on a cool morning to see what they can do with it when there aren't quite so many trees in the way.
