first kids on the moon
T and B were out jumping on the trampoline yesterday. T started out there alone before B got home from school. T was making a lot of noise for a kid by himself, so I asked him what he was doing. He told me he was walking on the moon. Later he and B were pretending to be the first kids on the moon.
B told Daddy-o last night that when he is grown up, if we need help folding socks, he will drive over in his yellow truck and help us. He has decided he is having a yellow truck when he grows up, and if that falls through, he is going to have an orange limo. T was really into orange and yellow cars, too, when he was 3. We bought a minivan at that point, and though it's white, I would have bought a yellow or orange one if Mazda had one available. Alas, they didn't. It would have been easier to spot in a parking lot.
B also has told us in the past week that when he grows up, he is going to live very far away from us. The last time we had this discussion, J was of the opinion she was going to move far away like Dallas or New York. T was going to live in the same neighborhood as us, although at this point I think he might move to the moon or Legoland.
