Benjamin Franklin, Build-a-Bear, Peru

T was talking to Daddy-o and I on Valentine's Day about Benjamin Franklin. (Both J and B were asleep before 6:30 because they were still recovering from our recent battle with Influenza A.) T was telling us how he read a book on Benjamin Franklin and how Benjamin Franklin wrote something that was the reason George Washington became President. We're not quite sure what that was. He also said that Benjamin Franklin invented the kind of glasses Daddy-o and I wear. Daddy-o let T know that neither of us wears bifocals yet, thank you very much. T also said that Benjamin Franklin took his favorite son along when he did the kite experiment.

Yesterday TBnJ went to Lakeline Mall with Grandpa to Build-a-Bear to spend Christmas and Valentine's money. T and J had been to Build-a-Bear previously with a camp at Christmas time and had gotten a chocolate bear (T) and a vanilla bear (J). They now wanted clothes for their bears. B got to get a koala bear yesterday, and his siblings helped him make the birth certificate (at right). T picked out a football outfit for his bear, and J got a bride's outfit. They each got a second outfit, but I can't remember what it was. B got a pair of Superman pajamas and a Woody costume. All of the bears and outfits are actually pretty cute.

This morning J and Grandpa were looking at a mango on the kitchen counter. They decided it came from Peru. J asked where in Texas Peru is. Such a Texan thinking that the whole universe revolves around Texas.
