Austin Nature and Science Center

TBnJ went to the Austin Nature and Science Center on Saturday. They were recently there over winter break with Oma and Opa, but friends were going on Saturday, so they decided to go dig for dinosaurs with them. When they first arrived, there was a catastrophe because there was a private party at the center and a troop of Boy Scouts were doing a few renovations on the dino pit. So TBnJ (and J and M) were forced to find something else to do for a while until they could get to the exhibits they wanted. This included wandering through outer space and walking through gardens. When they finally got to the dino pit, they spent the better part of an hour digging for dinosaur bones. Most amazingly, they found some. :) They had a great day yesterday before the cold set it in last night. Despite the cold, this same crew of kids braved the mud and wind and went hiking at Stephenson Preserve this morning. However, it was too cold for Daddy-o to take his hands out of his pockets to take any pictures of the hike!
