Thanksgiving lists
We recently started using worksheets from EdHelper.com for enrichment for T & J. They absolutely LOVE the worksheets. They've taken to demanding them instead of asking for them. Here are some of their Thanksgiving related responses.
What will your family do for Thanksgiving this year? What would you like to do?
T: We will cook turkey and watch parades.
J: We will eat a big dinner and cook more food for after Thanksgiving and play games with my famaly and watch tv and talk on the phone.
(I am amazed that she's already figured out that holidays equal talking on the phone to relatives. We didn't talk about that one when we were brainstorming.)
What are you thankful for?
T: 1. dogs and puppies 2. Tater totes [tots] 3. My famely 4. Food 5. home 6. Trains
J: I am thankful for food and my family and trees and flowers and toys and homes and Thanksgiving and farms and driks [drinks] and I am thankful for the world and for people and puzzles and for bugs and the hospital and docters and the sun and moon and lihgt [light] amd maps and stores and books and trains and colors and [k]nitting and pets and brothers and sesters and for lands and blocks and cars and trucks and vans and Jeeps and the road and beads and bees and butterflys and fireflys and beds and for names and dates and god and the woods and deer and windows and doors and roof and tv and brids [birds] and shoes and turky gobble and leaf and pitcher [pictures] and ladybugs and the abcs and 123.
