TBnJ all have a wonderful habit of announcing the phone ringing. When it starts ringing, they will holler out, "PHONE!!!" This is in case Daddy-o and I are completely deaf to phone rings but are still able to hear them. It's very similar to the phenomenon of dogs barking when a doorbell rings. Except in this case, the children are capable of answering the phone. They just refuse to do it. We've suggested to T and J that they could answer the phone instead of yelling about it, and they always laugh at us or give us these looks like "why would we want to do that?" They've really expressed absolutely no interest in learning how to answer or dial the phone. It just isn't on their priority list.
