rhubarb remorse
Last night I made Strawberry Pie. Both boys gave me loads of unsatisfied feedback before even making it to the kitchen. "Is it strawberry-rhubarb pie? But we wanted RHUBARB pie." They ate the strawberry pie anyway, though B ate a lot more of it than T. I am positive these must be my children because their father would never complain about the lack of vegetables in his fruit pie. And my lesson learned is that I'm going to have to freeze or can some rhubarb next year when it's in season!
