the big questions
Yesterday at lunch, the following were among the questions the kids asked:
-How high up do you have to go to be in space?
-Are clouds in space?
-When does the earth's gravity stop having an effect? How high up?
-Why don't we get hurricanes in Austin?
-Why do hurricanes slow down when they hit land?
-How do hurricanes form?
There were more that I am not remembering. It was a rather heavy lunch conversation. You know they've hit some good questions when the answer isn't "Ask Daddy-o" but "We'll have to look that up on the internet."
