The baseball game

T, J, and B went with Daddy-o and Grandpa to see the Round Rock Express play last night. They went with a group to celebrate the Round Rock Express' new family friendly breastfeeding policy (which supports women and babies breastfeeding in public; T, B and J were all breastfed-in-public babies).

It was Christian night at the ballpark last night, so the kids got to see Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato in addition to Spike, the RRE mascot. They also had fun playing on the playground at the stadium. They were excited to see one of the mamas we know at the game but were disappointed that another one of their friends was not there.

When I asked B about what he saw and did at the ballgame, this was his basic synopsis: "There was a man who hit a ball that went on the roof and didn't come down. And there were water fountains there. There was one tall one and one short one. They were by the bathrooms. Daddy-o let us drink from them [note: something I generally discourage since we carry bottled water and hence the reason this was a big deal]. There were lots of chairs. They had lots of bats. We saw Larry and Bob."

I haven't heard from T & J about the game yet. Today they are off conquering the new children's museum in New Braunfels with Grandpa and Daddy-o.
