flies
We are having problems with flies in the house right now. They are ANNOYING. It seems to be a problem throughout Austin-- maybe the mild winter we had. They are especially bothersome when we are eating. I offered the kids $1 for every fly they kill, but no one has succeeded yet. Daddy-o caught one and released it back into the wild (where it will probably fly back into our house the next time someone opens a door).
Anyway, we are having to keep all food covered at all times. Stuff that comes out of the oven has to get a towel put over it while it cools. We are constantly waving to keep flies off of the food we are eating. This morning B tried to convince us he didn't have to cover up the bread he wasn't eating because "Flies don't like bread." We told him we didn't think that was the case!
